Spanish stock market rises 0.28 pct, closes at 9,526 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.28 percent on Monday to close at 9,526.60 points, up from the 9,500 points of Friday.

ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 1.68 percent, followed by Melia Hotels, Tecnicas Reunidas, Iberdrola, Telefonica and AENA that rose 1.15 percent, 1.12 percent, 1.10 percent, 0.83 percent and 0.74 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Bankia shares led falls losing 1.05 percent, followed by ACS, DIA, Grifols, Banco Popular and Viscofan that lost 0.79 percent, 0.79 percent, 0.69 percent, 0.59 percent and 0.39 percent.

Spain's risk premium closed at 132 points, up from the 129 points of Friday closing time and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.64 percent. Endit
