Singapore stocks close 0.35 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 10.96 points, or 0.35 percent, to close at 3,096.69.

A total of 2.63 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1.06 billion Singapore dollars (744.7 million U.S. dollars). Decliners outnumbered gainers 274 to 196.
