China's five-year treasury bond futures opened higher on Monday, with the contract for settlement in March 2017 opening 0.075 percent higher at 99.750 yuan (about 14.51 U.S. dollars).

The contract for settlement in June 2017 opened 0.178 percent higher at 98.675 yuan. The contract for settlement in September 2017 opened at 98.070 yuan, 0.379 percent higher from the previous close.
