One Danish tourist died after falling off the balloon in Cappadocia of central Turkey on Saturday, local Dogan News Agency reported.

The balloon had to make a bumpy landing due to strong winds during descending in Nevsehir's Goreme district, where the Cappadocia region is located, Turkey's Transportation, Maritime and Communications Ministry said in a statement.

Jensen Benny Karl, 54, let go of a handle inside the balloon and fell off the balloon's basket, whose head hit on the rocks and experienced major fractures in his body.
