Paris CAC 40 index downs 0.65 pct on Friday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, dropped 0.65 percent and closed at 4,867.58 points on Friday.

The top three gainers were DANONE, up 3.13 percent, L'OREAL, up 2.47 percent, and SOLVAY, up 1.75 percent.

The three companies whose stock dropped most were CREDIT AGRICOLE, down 2.67 percent, SOCIETE GENERALE, down 2.57 percent, and BNP PARIBAS, down 2.23 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped 0.52 percent to close at 4,899.46 points on Thursday, down 25.40 points. Endit
