Saint-Etienne charged over fans misconduct at Old Trafford in Europa League

Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne on Friday faced a charge by UEFA over their fans misconduct during a match against Manchester United in Europa League last 32 first-leg.

It was reported that UEFA has opened a disciplinary case against the team, whose fans were charged over setting off fireworks and throwing objects. The European football's governing body will deal with the case on March 23 by its disciplinary body.

Losing at Old Trafford 3-0 on Thursday, Saint-Etienne, ranked fifth in Ligue 1 with 39 points, will visit Montpellier on Sunday. Endit
