Seoul shares end slightly lower

Seoul shares ended slightly lower on Friday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) inched down 1.26 points, or 0.06 percent, to settle at 2,080.58. Trading volume stood at 295.87 million shares worth 4.27 trillion won (3.72 billion U.S. dollars).

South Korea's currency finished at 1,146.3 won against the greenback, down 4.8 won from Thursday's close. Endit
