Morocco's King Mohammed VI visits Ghana

Xinhua, February 17, 2017 Adjust font size:

King Mohammed VI of Morocco has arrived in Accra to begin a three-day official visit to Ghana, the Flagstaff House said in a statement on Thursday.

The visit, which is aimed at deepening the existing cordial relations between Ghana and Morocco, will also present the two countries with an opportunity to define new areas of cooperation that would serve their mutual interests.

The Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo will hold bilateral talks with the King on Friday before hosting him to an official launch at the presidency, said the statement signed by Eugene Arhin, the acting director of communications at the presidency.

The Moroccan King was originally billed to visit the west African country last month but it was postponed. Endit
