Paris CAC 40 index down 0.52 pct on Thursday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, lost 0.52 percent and closed at 4,899.46 points on Thursday,down 25.40 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Thursday with 11 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The three gainers on Thursday were CAP GEMINI up 3.05 percent, NOKIA up 0.92 percent, LEGRAND up 0.91 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most were SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC down 4.17 percent, VALEO down 2.19 percent, and SAFRAN down 1.74 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40, gained 0.59 percent and closed at 4,924.86 points on Wednesday. Enditem
