Three security personnel killed in bomb attack in southwestern Pakistan

Three security personnel were killed and two others injured in a bomb attack in Pakistan's southwestern Awaran district on Thursday evening, a military statement said.

The Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of the Pakistani Army, said that an army convoy was hit by an improvised explosive device in Awaran district in Balochistan province.

Local media said the convoy was targeted by the bomb when it was patrolling the district.

The injured soldiers were shifted to a nearby hospital. Security forces cordoned off the area for investigations.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Endit
