Dollar changes hands in lower 114 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 114 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday morning, in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 114.15-16 yen compared with 114.11-21 yen in New York and 114.47-49 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0601-0602 dollars and 121.02-03 yen against 1.0593-0603 dollars and 120.98-121.08 yen in New York and 1.0573-0574 dollars and 121.03-07 yen in late trade on Wednesday afternoon. Endit
