Incumbent Jakarta governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama secured the most votes in gubernatorial election in the Indonesia's capital city on Wednesday, according to two leading quick counts.

Based on the result of quick count by Indobarometer at 16 : 33 p.m. Jakarta time with a total of 86.3 percent votes counted, the pair of Purnama and DJarot Saiful Hidayat got 43.85 percent votes, followed by the pairs of Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno with 39.2 percent votes, and Agus Harimurti and Sylviana Murni with 16.93 percent votes.

According to Charta Politica quick count at the same hour with a total of 90.75 percent votes counted Purnama got 42.87 percent votes, followed by Anies with 40.04 percent votes and Agus with 17.06 percent votes.
