1st LD: German airport closed after suspicious substance found

The airport in northern German city of Hamburg was closed on Sunday after suspicious substance found in the security check area, police sources here said.

The unknown toxin was reportedly spread through the air conditioning system of the airport, which left dozens of people injured, including some airport staff.

All flights were stopped for several hours as firefighters evacuated hundreds of passengers. Endit
