Temperatures to rebound in central, east China

Xinhua, February 12, 2017 Adjust font size:

Temperatures are forecast to rebound in China's eastern and central regions over the next three days, the country's top meteorological authority said Sunday.

Most central and eastern areas will be bathed in sunlight from Sunday through Wednesday, according to the National Meteorological Center.

However, due to lack of wind some areas will see smoggy weather with significantly reduced visibility.

Visibility in parts of Shaanxi Province will fall to one kilometers Tuesday.

Snow is expected to hit parts of Xinjiang, Tibet, Heilongjiang, while rain is forecast to fall on Sichuan, Yunnan and Taiwan Sunday night. Endi
