Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo was injured in a car collision in the south Polish city of Oswiecim late on Friday, Polish Press Agency (PAP) reported.

Szydlo was in the second car of a government motorcade when a Fiat Cinquecento collided with it. The prime minister and a Government Security Bureau officer were injured in the accident, according to the local police. (Poland-PM-Car crash)

DHAKA -- At least 13 people were killed and dozens of others injured in a fiery crash between a bus and a pickup truck, carrying gas cylinders, in Bangladesh's central Faridpur district, some 101 km away from the capital Dhaka, on Friday night, the district's police chief Subhash Chandra Saha told Xinhua.

He said the fatal road accident took place on a highway connecting the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka and southern Khulna divisional town, some 180 km southwest of the capital city. (Bangladesh-Crash)

LUANDA -- At least 17 people died and dozens of others injured in a stampede at a stadium at a soccer stadium in the northern Uige city of Angola, according to reports reaching Luanda lat on Friday.

The tragedy occurred Friday evening or seven minutes into a first division match between Santa Rita de Cassia and Libolo when hundreds of local fans stormed one of the gates of the stadium to watch the match. (Angola-Stampede)
