-- Cooperatives are crucial in realizing the structural transformation of Ethiopia's economy, Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn has said.

The premier made the statement on Thursday at the opening of the 4th National Cooperatives' Exhibition, Bazaar and Symposium at Addis Ababa Exhibition Center. (Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation/EBC)

-- Ethiopian President Dr. Mulatu Teshome has called on Turkey to further its industry development activities in Ethiopia.

As part of his state visit to Turkey, President Mulatu has conferred with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and Turkish Economic Minister Nihat Zeybekci on ways of reinforcing the economic bond of the two countries. (Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation/EBC)
