Paris CAC40 index gains 1.25 pct on Thursday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 1.25 percent and closed at 4,826.24 points on Thursday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed up on Thursday, up 59.64 points, with 32 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were SANOFI, up 4.62 percent, LAFARGEHOLCIM, up 2.51 percent, and ARCELORMITTAL, up 2.45 percent.

The three companies leading the drop were PUBLICIS GROUPE down 1.49 percent, PERNO-RICARD down 1.29 percent, and VALEO down 1.12 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40, gained 0.26 percent and closed at 4,766.60 points on Wednesday. Enditem
