Vietnam to host international triathlon in August

Some 500 athletes from dozens of countries and regions are expected to participate in the Challenge Vietnam 2017 triathlon in the central city of Nha Trang on Aug. 27, organizers said Thursday.

The athletes will undergo 1.9km swimming, 90km biking and 21km running for professionals and age groups.

Da Nang was the first city in Vietnam to host a triathlon, Ironman 2015, with a 1.9-km ocean swim, a 90-km bike course and a 21-km run. Endit
