China Hushen 300 index futures open lower Thursday

China's key Hushen 300 index futures opened lower on Thursday, as the contract for settlement in February 2017 opened 0.4 percent lower at 3,367 points.
The March 2017 contract opened 0.47 percent lower at 3,353 points. The June 2017 contract opened 0.46 percent lower at 3,310.8 points. The September 2017 contract opened 0.71 percent lower at 3,260 points.
The stock-index contracts, agreements to buy or sell the blue-chip Hushen 300 Index at a present value on an agreed date, are designed to allow investors to bet on and profit from either gains or declines in the market.
