Vietnam beat Malaysia 3-0 in U23 soccer friendly

Vietnam whitewashed Malaysia 3-0 in a U-23 soccer friendly here on Tuesday.

Forty seconds into the game, a Vietnamese striker scored the opening goal. Three minutes before the break, another striker extended the lead to 2-0.

In the 81st minute, Vietnamese outstanding striker Cong Phuong sealed the victory at 3-0.

Vietnam U-23 will compete at a qualification stage of the 2018 Asian Football Confederation U-23 Championship, which will take place in Vietnam from July 15 to 23, to fight for entry into the Championship, to be held in China early next year. Enditem
