Indonesia will send one cyclist to compete in Asian paracycling championship in Bahrain this month.

Chairman of Indonesian cyclist association (PB ISSI) Raja Sapta Oktohari said here Tuesday that the association will send Muhammad Fadly to the championship slated for Feb. 24-March 3.

"Hopefully, the participation in the international event will motivate other athletes to boost their achievement," Sapta said at his office.

Fadly, 32, will vie in C4 class category for those having disability below knee, he added,

"I am optimistic with his capability and spirit. His speed in cycling keeps rising. Now it is at 37-38 km per hour," said Sapta. Endite
