South Korea win 2 short-track speed skating golds at Almaty Universiade

South Korea showed their strength in short-track speed skating as they finished 1-1 in both men's and women's 1500m race at the Almaty Winter Universiade on Sunday.

Son Ha Kyung finished first with 2 minutes and 34.591 seconds in the women's 1500m race, while her teammate Kim A Lang took the silver with 2:35.010.

China's Zang Yize didn't finish the race due to a foul by Noh Do Hee. Noh, also from South Korea, was handed a penalty and disqualified.

In the men's race, Park Ji Won took gold in 2:30.622, Kim Do Kyoum placed second with 0.151 seconds behind. China's Shao Shuai was fourth with 2:31.534. Endit
