Belarus hopes to attract 700 mln USD loan from China for business development

Belarus hopes to raise 700 million U.S. dollars in Chinese loans for its small and medium-sized business promotion program, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko told a press conference here on Friday.

"I think we will come to an agreement. Some money will be allocated for concrete projects" like family business etc, Lukashenko said.

Belarusian Finance Ministry earlier said Belarus had received a total of 446.9 million U.S. dollars from Chinese banks loans in 2016. Endit
