Chicago agricultural commodities close mixed

Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) grains futures settle mixed on Thursday with soybean and corn futures falling.

The CME Group's wheat market used strong exports to close higher.

At the close, the March corn futures settled 2.25 cents lower at 3.6375 dollars, and new-crop December 2017 futures finished 3 cents lower at 3.9075 dollars per bushel.

March soybean futures finished 5.75 cents lower at 10.495, while November 2017 soybean futures finished 2.5 cents lower at 10.235 dollars.

March wheat futures finished 2.5 cents higher at 4.27 dollars.

March soy meal futures closed 0.90 dollar a short ton lower at 342.40 dollars. March soy oil futures settled 0.40 cent lower at 34.47 cents per pound.

In the outside markets, the Brent crude oil market is 1.11 U.S. dollar per barrel higher, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 29 points higher at 20,098. Endit
