British FTSE 100 decreased 0.04 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.04 percent, or 2.94 points, to 7,161.49 points.

Share price of Royal Bank of Scotland Group increased by 5.86 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Ashtead Group, Carnival, Smiths Group and Aviva increased by 5.43 percent, 3.95 percent, 3.24 percent and 2.75 percent respectively.

Fresnillo led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 7.42 percent, following by Randgold Resources (6.35 percent), Sage Group (5.15 percent), Smurfit Kappa Group (5.08 percent) and Unilever (4.83 percent). Endit
