Exports of electricity from BiH up 13.4 pct year-on-year in 2016

Exports of electricity from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) amounted to some 322 million KM (177 million U.S. dollars) in 2016, registering a year-on-year increase of 13.4 percent, according to figures released by BiH's Agency for Statistics on Thursday.

During the same period, imports of electricity in BiH exceeded 115 million KM, up 8.5 percent year-on-year, according to the agency.

The biggest export and import of electricity in BiH was recorded in 2013, when the export amounted to almost 472 million KM, and the import exceeded 120 million KM. (1 U.S. dollar = 1.82 KM) Endite
