British FTSE 100 decreases 0.01 pct on Tuesday

The FTSE 100 Index, Britain's benchmark stock market gauge, decreased by 0.01 percent, or 0.84 points, to 7,150.34 points on Tuesday.

The share price of Antofagasta shot up by 8.14 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Anglo American, Fresnillo, Rio Tinto and ITV increased by 7.48 percent, 5.71 percent, 4.78 percent and 3.87 percent respectively.

BT Group led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price plummet of 21.74 percent, followed by Dixons Carphone (8.70 percent), Paddy Power Betfair (8.47 percent), easyJet (6.03 percent) and Capita (3.45 percent). Endit
