Paris CAC 40 index up 0.18 pct Tuesday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.18 percent and closed at 4,830.03 points on Tuesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Tuesday, up 8.62 points, with 25 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were Peugeot, 3.70 percent, Lafargeholcim, up 3.53 percent, and Valeo, up 2.81 percent.

The three companies of which the stock prices dropped the most were Essilor Intl. down 1.67 percent, Sanofi down 1.27 percent, and Unibail-Rodamco down 1.14 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped by 0.60 percent to close at 4,821.41 points, down 29.26 points. Enditem
