6 people killed as house rooftop collapses in E. Afghanistan

Six members of a family in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan with Jalalabad as its capital, 120 km east of Kabul lost their lives as rooftop of their house caved in on Monday, spokesman for provincial government Attaullah Khogiani said.

The incident, according to the official occurred in Sheikh Musri village of Surkhrod district early morning killing six people including two children and injuring four others. He didn't give more details.

People in Afghan villages usually used to live in the traditional muddy and old houses that can easily collapse in natural disaster even in heavy rain and snowfall. Enditem
