Chinese players sweep seasong-opening Seamaster ITTF World Tour Hungarian Open

The final day of the Seamaster 2017 ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) World Tour Hungarian Open table tennis tournament here on Sunday saw Chinese players win all four events.

In the men's singles final, China's Yan An beat his teammate Shang Kun 4-2 for top honors.

China's Chen Xingtong won the women's singles, triumphing over her teammate Wen Jia 4-1.

The Chinese duo of Fang Bo and Zhou Yu won the men's doubles 3-1, defeating the Brazilian duo of Hugo Calderano and Gustavo Tsuboi.

Chinese duo Chen Xingtong and Li Jiayi won the women's doubles 3-1 over Matilda Ekholm of Sweden and Georgina Pota of Hungary.

The Seamaster 2017 ITTF World Tour is a professional table tennis tournament currently sponsored by the Chinese shipping company Seamaster.

The Hungarian Open was the first event of the season. A total of 350 players from 54 countries and regions attended the event.

The India Open is next on the calendar, to be held in New Delhi from February 16-19. Endit
