Dollar drops to upper 113 yen level in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 113 yen level early Monday morning in Tokyo following U.S. President Donald Trump's inauguration speech which did not specify economic stimulus plans.

At 9 a.m., the dollar fetched 113.83-84 yen compared with 114.60-70 yen in New York and 114.79-81 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro was quoted at 1.0712-0715 dollars and 121.95-96 yen against 1.0699-0709 dollars and 122.40-50 yen in New York and 1.0672-0674 dollars and 122.51-55 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endit
