Belarus is proud of allied relations with China: Belarusian president

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko extended greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping and the people of China as the two countries celebrate the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations, the press service of the Belarusian head of state said on Friday.

In his message, the Belarusian leader said that the Belarusian people are proud of the fact that Belarus and China have developed a truly allied relations and reached unprecedented high level of trust the comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Lukashenko assured that Belarus will continue doing its best to contribute to the effective implementation of the One Belt, One Road initiative and the construction of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone, seen as a pivot and a "pearl" of the Silk Road Economic Belt project.

The president is confident that the anniversary year will go down in history as a year of fruitful bilateral relations, an intensive cultural exchange, new contacts, ideas and areas of cooperation. Endit
