Singapore's Merlion statue under cleaning from Feb. 3 to Feb. 26: tourism board

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) on Friday announced that the country's iconic Merlion statue at the Merlion Park will undergo routine cleaning and basic maintenance works from Feb. 3 to Feb. 26.

STB stated that the main Merlion statue will be hoarded up during the cleaning period. While the Merlion cub statue will still be available for photo taking. The Merlion cub statue will also be given a wash during this period.

"We seek the public's understanding as the works and barricades may cause some inconvenience during this period," added STB in the statement. Endit
