New cargo service links C China, Belarus to boost trade

Xinhua, January 20, 2017 Adjust font size:

A new cargo train linking central China's Hunan Province and Belarus has started operation.

The train linking China with Eastern Europe, which has 41 carriages carrying electronic products, garments, optical cables and machine parts, departed from Hunan's capital Changsha late Wednesday.

It will travel for 13 days before arriving in Minsk, Belarus's capital.

It is Hunan's fifth cross-border rail route, following freight services to Hamburg, Warsaw, Moscow and Tashkent.

The train service will run regularly, after China's Spring Festival, and will facilitate trade and economic exchanges between Hunan and Belarus. Endi
