Seoul shares end higher

Seoul shares ended higher on Thursday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) added 2.25 points, or 0.11 percent, to settle at 2,072.79. Trading volume stood at 410.37 million shares worth 4.03 trillion won (3.42 billion U.S. dollars).

South Korea's currency finished at 1,177.6 won against the greenback, down 10.9 won from Wednesday's close. Endit
