French shares fall on Wednesday

French shares lost on Wednesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC40 down slightly by 0.13 percent to close at 4,853 points.

That marked a third consecutive session of decline.

Atari shares advanced 4.3 percent. EDF rose by 3.3 percent, and ArcelorMittal was up 3 percent.

While Vallourec retreated 2.5 percent, Bureau Veritas lost 2.3 percent and Axa fell 1.9 percent. Endit
