Xinhua, January 17, 2017 Adjust font size:

Some 81 percent of Vietnamese manufacturing and processing firms said they expected stable or better business results in 2017, according to a survey by the General Statistics Office (GSO) on Tuesday.

The optimism of business results in 2017 was driven by improved macro-economy coupled with government efforts to improve the business climate and remove obstacles, local Vietnam News online newspaper quoted GSO as saying.

Earlier, a survey among the 500 largest local enterprises by Vietnam Report found that they were optimistic about revenue, profit and overall business results for 2017.

Last year, the country saw a record high of 110,000 new firms registered. Endit
