French stock market drops 0.82 percent to 4,882.18 points on Monday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, dropped 0.82 percent and closed at 4,882.18 points on Monday.

The CAC 40 of Paris lost on Monday 40.31 points, with five of the 40 selected companies experiencing an increase.

The top three gainers were Essilor International, up 11.85 percent, Sodexo, up 0.63 percent, and Publicis Groupe, up 0.56 percent.

The three companies of which the stock prices dropped the most were Lafargeholcim, down 3.05 percent, Vivendi, down 2.63 percent, and Societe Generale, down 2.56 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 rose by 1.20 percent to close at 4,922.49 points on Friday. Enditem
