Turnover index in Macedonian industry up by 10.2 pct in Jan.-Nov. 2016

The turnover index in Macedonia's industry sector increased by 10.2 percent in January-November 2016, compared to the same period of previous year, data published by the State Statistical Office here showed Monday.

On monthly basis, the turnover index in November increased by 2.8 percent, compared to October 2016 while it rose by 11.9 percent compared to November 2015.

According to Macedonia's statistical office, the domestic turnover in industry in November 2016 increased by 6.7 percent, in comparison with November 2015 while non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 13.2 percent.

Official data also showed that the turnover in the mining and quarrying section in November 2016 decreased by 1.3 percent year-on-year in comparison with November 2015, while in the manufacturing sector,it increased by 12.4 percent. Endit
