Vietnam's top marksman to participate in ISSF World Cup

Hoang Xuan Vinh, Vietnam's first gold medalist, will compete at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup, which is slated for Feb. 22-Mar. 4 in India.

The Vietnamese 43-year-old marksman, who grabbed a gold and a silver at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, will compete in the 10m air pistol and 50m pistol events of the coming ISSF World Cup, along with strong opponents, including Wang Zhiwei from China and Felipe Almeida Wu from Brazil, the Vietnam Shooting Federation said on Sunday.

After the ISSF World Cup, Vietnam will participate in two other international tournaments, one in May in Germany and the other in June in Azerbaijan. Endit
