Jordan king issues decree approving cabinet reshuffle

King Abdullah II of Jordan on Sunday issued a Royal Decree approving a cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Hani Mulki.

The new cabinet, which was sworn in Sunday, includes new ministers in several portfolios.

Ayman Safadi was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs replacing Nasser Judeh, Ghaleb Zu'bi as Interior Minister replacing Salameh Hammad, and Omar Razzaz as Minister of Education replacing Mohammad Dhneibat.

Mamdouh Abbadi was appointed as Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs. Besher Khasawneh was appointed as Minister of State for Legal Affairs. Haditha Khreisha was appointed as Minister of Youth.

Mulki formed his first cabinet in June 2016. This is the second cabinet reshuffle in the government of Mulki. Endit
