Murder suspect caught in Beijing

Police in Beijing said on Thursday that they have captured a man suspected of killing two people and injuring one over a month ago.

The 50-year-old suspect, named Liu Zhongyou from Changchun City, Jilin Province, allegedly murdered the victims with a knife after drinking and a dispute with his coworkers in Daxing District on Nov. 29, 2016, said Xu Chunlan, an officer with the Daxing branch of the Beijing Public Security Bureau.

After spending 25 days searching for Liu, police caught him in Shangqiu City in Henan Province on Dec. 23. Liu confessed to the murder.
