British FTSE 100 rises 0.08 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday rose by 0.08 percent, or 5.57 points, to 7,195.31 points.

Share price of Fresnillo increased by 10.43 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey, Barratt Developments and easyJet increased by 10.23 percent, 8.94 percent, 6.99 percent and 6.62 percent respectively.

Rolls-Royce Holdings led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.19 percent, following by Standard Life (4.12 percent), Tesco (3.44 percent), Prudential (2.50 percent) and Direct Line Insurance Group (1.85 percent). Endit
