Chinese president's special envoy to attend Ghanaian presidential inauguration

Wang Zhengwei will attend the Ghanaian president's inauguration ceremony as special envoy of President Xi Jinping, Chinese Foreign Ministry announced Wednesday.

Wang, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, is making the trip at the invitation of the Ghanaian government, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang told a routine press briefing.

The inauguration of Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo will be held in Accra on Jan. 7. Endi
