Paris CAC 40 index gains 0.35 pct on Tuesday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.35 percent and closed at 4,899.33 points on Tuesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Monday, up 16.95 points, with 24 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were SOCIETE GENERAL, 3.75 percent, PEUGEOT, up 3.29 percent, and CREDIT AGRICOLE, up 3.25 percent.

The three companies with the stock prices dropped the most were KLEPIERRE, down 2.78 percent, L'OREAL, down 1.90 percent, and Unibail-Rodamco, down 1.74 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained by 0.41 percent to close at 4,882.38 points on Monday, up 20.07 points. Enditem
