Hong Kong stocks close 0.96 pct higher

Hong Kong stocks rose 209.65 points, or 0.96 percent to 22,000.56 points on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 21,818.91 and 21,069.62. Turnover totaled 53.78 billion HK dollars (about 6.94 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
