Sao Paulo sign former Hertha BSC midfielder Cicero

Xinhua, December 30, 2016 Adjust font size:

Former Hertha BSC and Wolfsburg midfielder Cicero Santos has joined Sao Paulo on a two-year loan deal, the Brazilian club has confirmed.

The 32-year-old joins the Tricolor from Rio de Janeiro giants Fluminense and will meet up with his new teammates for the first time at the Florida Cup in January.

It will be Cicero's second spell at Sao Paulo, having also represented the club in 2011 and 2012.

He is the fifth new signing for Sao Paulo since Rogerio Ceni was appointed coach earlier this month.

Others to commit to the club next year have been forwards Wellington Nem and Neilton, goalkeeper Sidao and left back Junior Tavares. Endit
