One killed in blast at passenger bus in Lebanon

One was killed and another was wounded Wednesday in a blast that targeted a passenger bus in Lebanon's town of al-Ain near Baalbek, the Army Guidance Directorate said in a statement.

"Around 6:30 this morning, a bomb exploded in a car type van in Al-Ain town of Baalbek," the statement said.

Khalid Ali Al-Houri, the Deputy Municipality Head, who was on board, was killed, it added.

An investigation was launched, according to the statement. Endit
