Dollar changes hands in lower 117 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 117 yen zone early Tuesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m. the dollar fetched 117.19-20 yen compared with 117.14-19 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. The U.S. market was closed Monday for a national holiday.

The euro was quoted at 1.0454-0455 dollars and 122.52-53 yen against 1.0457-0461 dollars and 122.53-57 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Endit
