British FTSE 100 rises 0.32 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday rose by 0.32 percent, or 22.26 points, to 7,063.68 points.

Share price of DCC increased by 3.58 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Intertek Group, Fresnillo, Paddy Power Betfair and Randgold Resources increased by 2.89 percent, 2.84 percent, 2.58 percent and 2.48 percent respectively.

BHP Billiton led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 1.63 percent, following by Rio Tinto (0.98 percent), Barclays (0.77 percent), Anglo American (0.75 percent) and Pearson (0.67 percent). Endit
